About to go into the theater to see all three movies in one showing. Who else is seeing it tonight.

Ill, they had a detonator too so they could have set it off at any time... the only reason it didn't work at the end is because Gordon took out the detonator before she pushed the button.

why the hell did ppl have KIDS at a midnight showing of that movie?!? i read about a 6 year old, a 9 year old, and a kid UNDER ONE YEAR OLD?!? a movie theatre is waaaayyy too fucking loud for a baby, kids don't need to be out until 3 am watching a movie, and is it really a good idea to let your kid watch a movie like this?!?

i would be the best parent ever, my kid wouldn't be allowed to do ANYTHING.

Saw the movie today and thought it was pretty amazing, but dang, hearing about that shooting as soon as we got back is horrible. So hard to believe it happened, and I'm hearing people are using this event to try and loosen gun laws, because OF COURSE if people were packing in the theater, it wouldn't have been a problem at all. Sound logic, that.

Some guy in the audience with a concealed .38 or 9mm would have been useless in this situation. Not only was this guy in full scale riot gear with bullet proof armor and a gas mask, he was firing a semi automatic non-military AR-15 assault rifle and a 12 gauge shotgun. Add to that the tear gas or whatever he threw in there and nobody had a chance. First responding officers couldn't even enter the theater until gas masks arrived. Thankfully it appears he ran out of ammo.

He explained himself when he first captured Bruce. His whole "there is no true despair without hope" thing. The longer people were kept prisoners in Gotham, the harder they would cling onto the hope of freedom, ergo the more it would feel upon the eventual discovery that they were all gonna die anyway.
