pam is carrying that baby allllllll over, just saying. |
Haven't watched yet. Did they already write that in? |
yep, she's pregnant again. jim's got some swimmers. |
That and Jenna Fischer is pregnant. |
really? |
hey look guys, we know what planking is |
I know it's only one episode, but that just didn't feel right. |
felt very right to me. i really enjoyed it, especially ed helms. i've thought he was the highlight of the series now for a few years, so i'm happy to see him get the spotlight. |
I feel like Andy as manger works. Atleast better than any one else would have. Andy and Michael have similar qualities, IMHO. |

i'm still of the opinion that michael scott was not the best thing on the show. never was. he was the best thing in some episodes, but not in all or even most of the episodes. |
Jim and Pam are the only human beings left on the show. |
things like michael driving into a lake, or michael kidnapping a pizza boy, or prison mike... these did not elevate the material. the more cartoony michael got, the less i liked the show. |
i think michael elevated the show b/c steve carell is twice the actor any of the others are. the guy is unbelievable. |
michael was best, i felt, when they really blurred the line between idiot and genius. |
My statement was more Carell-centric. He gave a very nuanced performance. Helms has yet to show me more than "glib dweeb". |
I think Helms deserves a lot more credit than that. He was hilarious in the episode where he started questioning his own sexuality because of a rumor Michael started. But yeah he's not Carell-good, and I'm sure his stint as manager is short-lived. |
With Michael, especially early on, the show was mostly about how everyone else in the office dealt with their boss being a socially clueless but well-meaning jerk. As they grew more accustomed to Michael's behavior, he quit having to try so hard and became more human. |
the more cartoony michael got, the less i liked the show. |
iawtp, although i feel like the entire show got cartoony along with him. |

i've just been talking shit in this thread so far, so i should say i do still get enjoyment out of the show. i haven't really been excited about in a few seasons, but it's pretty consistently entertaining. |
i enjoyed the episode. i loved james spader. i don't like andy as manager. |
i liked andy more when he had anger problems |
i was thinking that too. he and jim, while clearly approached differently, both have the nice-guy side character syndrome like the parts robert cummings and ralph bellamy always played in old hollywood movies. they're both funny but i tend to wish they had a bit more LIFE. |

If Kevin president, I go Canada. Short speak not good way talk. |
